Ernesto Ramirez
Owner/Founder
Ernesto Ramirez is a graduate student in the Daveler & Kauanui School of Entrepreneurship, having earned his undergraduate degree at FGCU in Entrepreneurship. Ernesto has worked in many industries such as food service, retail, sales, construction, hospitality, and manufacturing. His experience in multiple industries has given him great perspective on what it takes to be effective in them. This led him to realize he enjoys providing meaningful services for others, above all else. Ernesto joined the United States Army at 18 years old after graduating high school, where he deployed to Afghanistan, the Horn of Africa, and Eastern Europe. Ernesto is committed to serving in the military for as long as he is capable, having 10 years of service to date. He is also committed to his family and places great emphasis on being the best husband and father he can be.
His business, Del Rey Auto Spa, is a mobile auto detailing company that offers interior and exterior cleaning services at a customer’s desired location. Ernesto found a hobby cleaning his own cars, maintaining their appearance through the years, and realized the opportunity to start a business doing something he enjoys. Since its launch in January of 2022, Del Rey Auto Spa has serviced hundreds of customers. Ernesto has been detailing cars for years and works every day at finding methods to increase his efficiency and looks to build a company that will continue to serve his customers for years to come. The business started from humble beginnings, working out of the trunk of his vehicle. His plan is to work his way to having a brick-and-mortar location, where a fleet of detailers will be based out of and continue to serve the surrounding community. Ernesto gives back to his community whenever he can, whether that is by giving resources or his time. He is on the board of advisors for his alma mater, Southeast High School’s Entrepreneurship Program, as well as a volunteer mentor for the students. Del Rey Auto Spa is a sponsor to the program and plans to get involved in other local organizations over time.
